This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg//BgC.2ACI/1280 Message Board Post: My g.g.grandfather, Alexander Cameron, was living at Moss-side in Meft in the Parish of Urquhart in 1827. Anne was kind enough to confirm the location but does anyone have any information on this place? Is it the name of the area, a farm or perhaps a village? I would be particularly interested if there was a Stonemason's yard or similar in the area since he was a Master Mason. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks, Ian Cameron

The map of the same area then will appear. You can get a better view if you click on Enlarged view - this gives a slightly wider view around the Moss-side farm. (No sign of a Stone Mason's yard, though) HTH _ _ Regards, Ed Barron <ejbarron@netspace.net.au>
