Hello Ross, Your George Duff died November 28, 1909 at Manse cottage, Mulben he was married to Jessie Shiach she died April 19, 1914. I don't know if you know or not but George's mother Elizabeth McDonald died in Mortlach on October 31, 1837. Let me know where you fit in and i will fill in any gaps for you. Regards Ray

Thanks Ray - it's not what I wanted to hear - doesn''t fit with everything else. We've got a real tangle going on at this stage in two families. Identical husband and wife names of the same time and area. And without hard birth certificates, or marriage certificates that only mention the bride and groom!!!!!!!! Do you have any idea where Elizabeth Macdonald was born or to whom - she is something of an enigma.
