Hello; I have HELEN ms MCCONNACHIE , father George, mother , Jane ? She is shown on the 1881 Census of Aberdeen - W, 50, F, Marnoch, Aberdeen, Scotland which should make her birthdate as 1830 / 1831. I thought Marnoch was in Banff, but I did find a MARNO in both Strichen and Tyrie on Genuki. I can't find a Helen in Marnoch in that time frame on Scotlandspeople. I found her death which gave me her father and mothers names>no ms shown for her mother. Her marriage in the Aberdeen, St. Nicholas OPR gave only her fathers name. I know this is a long shot, but - Anyone researching this family?? Irene in Canada.
