I would love to invite George BRODIE (my 3rd G-grandfather) who was christened 5 Oct 1759 in Forres.and died 21 Mar 1832 (buried in Elgin Cathedral). He married Margaret ANDERSON 26 Jul 1791 in Drainie. He has proved quite elusive. His children William and Margaret were born in Elgin. William's (1792) christening witnesses were William BRODIE, William MUIR, William BROWN, and Margaret BRODIE. Margaret's (1797) christening witnesses were: Thomas CHRISTIE, George WATSON, Margaret MURDOCH, and Margaret BROWN. I would ask him who his parents were and who these people were who witnessed the christenings and what relationship did they have to George and Margaret.
