I have earlier asked for Scottish ancestors to Alexander and Robert Innes from Banff. Since then, I have gathered some more informations, and would be thankful for any information concerning the following Banff people: Robert Innes, dead 1782-12-28 His wife Margaret Gilchrist, dead 1786-01-22 From MI in Banff: "Robert Innes, town clerk of Banff, died 28th December, 1782, and Margaret Gilchrist, his spouse, died 22nd January, 1786, and both ly interred here." Their children Robert Innes, b. 1745, married to Georgina Eleonora, child Robert (b. 1792-07-15 in Gothenburg) Alexander Innes, b. 1748-03-07, d. 1818-01-30 in Gothenburg, Sweden. Married to Ulrika Dorotea Lundberg (d. 1828 in Gothenburg), children Margareta Ulrika (1801-03-30--1844-02-09), Sara Euphemia (1805-07-27--1884-12-05), Robert Alexander (b. 1809-12-02). William Innes, b. 1748-03-07, twin brother to Alex., staying in USA at the time for his brothers dead. Margaret Innes, married to William Reid, with children James (d. 1813-03-17 in Gothenburg), Margaret, Euphemia, and Robert. Any information concerning the ancestors of this family or further facts about the children of Margaret and Robert is interesting to me.
