All of these are in Aberdeenshire but only the Castle & the Forest show up on the maps. Nonetheless, Streetmap.co.uk seems to be noticeably better than Multimap in this case!! One thing not yet pointed out to the originators of this query [Chris and Kathryn] is that Midmar parish doesn't have a town or village of that name as its social centre, akin to a number of others in Aberdeenshire. I can remember going spare in the early days trying to find Monquhitter on my 2.5" map. Mind you, it helps to know which county your parish/place-name is in.
