I have taced my Family tree back to 1738, I am trying to find info on James Cruikshank (Cruckshank, Cruickshank) reportedly born in Inveravon, Banff "about" 1738, in 1763 he married Janet Black, in Inveravon, they had a son John, I know the root to present day, My family line was also in Aberlour, with Alexr Cruikshank married to Anne McDonald, in 1832.
