Ray, I saw your message on the list, was wondering if you have found anything on Farquharsons, Mortlach parish- 1840-42?? I'm still searching anywhere I can think of, but no luck with James or his parent, James Farquharson and Jane Grant. As you know I have James from 1882 in NZ, but before that is still a mystery. Thought I had some leads on Jane Grant and James the father but they were different families. I am waiting for more certificates from NZ about the children of young James, when I get them I'll send you the info so you can add it to your lists in case someone else is looking too.
