I would think most of your ancestors you have found you could find the actually death records. Once I found the death records I was able to find their children as well as the parents, and sometimes the marriage an birth dates. Once you have thesse dates then you can find hometowns, census records which will lead you to children and their ages. My problem is that my family lived in Rothes Scotland and the ones we can't find were the ones that moved away. Plus the only records before 1855 tha you can find are the death records which give birth dates before the year of 1855. The one bad thing is before 1855 all records were parish church records and many churchs caught fire. The other bad thing is the UK has the 100yr privacy law. Here in USA it is 75yrs.
