I'm new to this list and have been listening for a bit. I'm hoping someone can help me with information about the Nazareth settlement. I have Renner ancestors in the area immediately around Nazareth and I'm not finding records for them in the usual places. The time period is about 1750 to 1800. I'm suspecting they are in the Morivian/ Nazareth community as they don't show up on any Roster of soldiers for the area and there are other family connections to the Moravians. I'm looking for information about the ship "Irene". I believe it came in in 1749 in NY. Where in NY did it land? I know the people on the ship came to Nazareth and there was a group marriage of some of the immigrants. I'm specifically looking for information about Georg Renner, who I understand was married at that time. Is there any record of his wife, or his children, or where he ended up and was buried? I'd also like to know if there are any Renner children in the Nazareth records from about 1750 to 1790. Thanks for your help. Robin
