Valerie, WEre your Palmers from Randolph County Missouri? My gr gr grandfather was John Henry Palmer Sr. He was married to Sarah Elizabeth Bunnell. He died in 1869 when his children were little. I have been trying to find what line of Palmers he was from. My great great grandmother was Sarah Ellen Palmer, b. 1841 and d. 1872. She married James Anderson Bradley b. 1832 and d. 1901. Just made the connection that her parents were Martellus Palmer and Nancy Moseley. One daughter of Martellus and Nancy, named Agnes, married a James Hugh McBride of Boone County. They had many children and seemed to remain in the Centralia, MO area for at least the next couple generations. My grandmother mentions in a 1930's journal visiting several McBrides with the names of James Hollis McBride and wife Mary Ella Sexton....and their children, Lowell, Eva Mae, and Emmett with wife Mayme.
