Shirley - since I just found the connection, I haven't gone back very far. It could be that your John Henry was a brother to an earlier Palmer of mine. I will try to check it out. My Palmers seemed to all be from Boone County. I will keep in touch. We had corresponded before, but that was when I was stalled on my mystery.
