Hello Everyone, This conversation has brought to mind the gas station and grocery store that my grandfather owned, there in Moberly. In fact, I have the butcher's block from the restaurant in the kitchen of my home. I don't remember the names of these places, and I think the building(s) are even gone now. But, When I was growing up 1950s and 1960s, there were there close to where the 2 main highways now cross. I think my parents mentioned that he had the businesses leased out, so his name (Leslie Combs Hudson) was possibly not part of the business name. The gas station would have been Standard Oil however. Does any of this bring back any menories to any of you who have lived in Moberly? Leslie Kohler
