Having a problem sorting this line out. Need help determining if any of these listed Coomb/Coombe children belong to Arnell B Bagby Coombe & John W. Coomb/Coombe. I need a marriage date & possibility a dirvorce date. Or a marriage date between John Coombe & 3rd wife Emma (Brodus) Coombe of which I have 2-12-1912 Not sure this date is correct. I start this line as follows. 1824 Henry Coomb & wife 1832 Hanna, from England, are found in the 1860 census. Is a minor, age 36 & is found in Warren CO MO Elkhorn Township There is in Household a John Coomb 65 Possible father In the 1880 Census, Randolph CO Renick, MO. Prairie TWP, Henry Coomb is the Postmaster. 7 children .His Son John W. Coomb age 22 is a Blacksmith Henry & John are not found on 1900 census. I do see on 1900 census a John W (now spelled) Coombe, a Blacksmith in Huston Texas With a wife Lucy A. (37) & 2 sons & 1 daughter. Then am unable to find this John Coombe until the 1920 census still a blacksmith, in Fayette, with a wife named Emma (Brodus) who he shares a headstone in Fayette Cemetery with. See Findagrave.com. John who is called Jack, has a blacksmith shop in Fayette. Arnelle called Nellie Bagby Coombe Her DC says she is divorced From Jack Coombe. Emma Coombe who dies in 3-14-1943 is a widow. a Frank Coombe signed her DC. John must have been marred to Nellie Bagby between 1912 to 1920. He is 41 years older then Nellie Bagby. “ I don’t think they have children” But what really confuses me is On the 1930 census. Arnell Nellie’s father. Fayette MO Prosecuting Attorney, Robert M. Bagby. Has listed as living in his household along with his daughter Nellie Coombe. His g-dau. Tanney A. Coombe age 15=1915 Son John R. Coombe age 9=1821. James, My Lexington, KY, COMBS family spent time in Howard County, MO. I do not have my information with me at this time as I am at my son's house. Are you familiar with the Combs, Coombs, &c group.
