I was hoping someone could help me before I get there. My gggGreat Grandfather Christopher Hinton moved to Randolph County sometime between 1830 and 1842. I do not know where in the county he lived. All I have for records that connect him to Randolph County are a census record and his probate record (he died intestate in 1842). Neither one specify a town. So not only do I not know where he lived, but I have no idea where he was buried. Last time I stopped by Randolph County I looked around Eads Chapel Cemetery and also another cemetery (I don't know the name of it) that was on the same road, but closer to the veterans cemetery. I didn't find Christopher in either cemetery, but I found another relative in Eads Chapel. I'm not quite sure where to begin. What records can I use to find out where where he might have lived or what cemetery he was buried in? Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
