Yes, I'm still transcribing, but I have a major surgery coming up for my grandson in a couple of weeks, and I'll be away from home for at least two weeks and possible three, then right after that a new grandbabybaby due in Texas the first of September, and hopefully my son, the daddy, will get leave from Iraq to be there for the birth, so for the moment family issues are keeping me away from genealogy. I've also had some health issues that have kept me running to doctor's appointments for the last several months, but I think that is settling down a little more now as I'm adjusting to a new way of living. I'm hoping things will settle down by the end of September and I can seriously get back to transcribing and posting online again. For those of you who belong to Ancestry.com, they have the Moberly Monitor Index online, the actual images, from about 1922 through at least the 1950's and possibly later than that. I'm not sure when the ending date is on them, since I've only glanced through them myself. It will cover at least 10 years later than the Higbee News.
