    3. Shirley - I am interested - what is your Williams connection? I have done a bit of research and collecting. My Williams starts with Colden Williams the preacher who was in Howard Co by 1816 and died there 1832. I come from two of his thirteen children - Sarah Elizabeth who married Nero Morgan Thompson and John Calhoun who married Sarah Chism. Colden came from NC through SC and KY. There was also a Lewis A Williams, father of William and John Berry (known as Berry) who was from Virginia. Would love to exchange with you. 3. Carolyn, I would be interested to know the parentage of the John Calhoun you mentioned. One of my ancestors in Macon County, Mo is Pleasant Calhoun and Paulina Clark. They were married in In. but Pleasant was born in Guilford Co., NC. His father was James but we cannot determine the father for James.
