Here is the obit for Kathy Bolwin's mom Esther Ruth Laumbattus nee Hemphill 81, born Jan. 8 1926, in Ferguson, MO Died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007, in Nortonville, Kansas. Mrs. Laumbattus worked at Scott Air Force Base as a clerk typist during the 1960' and retiring after 22 years of government services. She was preceded in death by her husband Leslie Laumbattus. Surviving are her five children from her first marriage to Harold Lloyd, John (Anita) Lloyd, Ruth (Kirby) McVey, Diana (Ed) Lupton, Kathleen (Mike) Bowlin and Kimberly Wilson, nine grandchildren, three step grandchildren. 23 great-grandchildren, one sister and 1 brother. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Visitation: Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 4. 2007, and 9 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, At Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, Il.
