Elizabeth, The Isaac Farris you refer to in Schuyler Co, MO is my 3rd great grandfather. I do not know who his parents were or any of his siblings. Isaac died 14 Feb 1900 southeast of Higbee in Randolph Co, MO and is buried at Fairview Cemetery. He married 1848 in Schuyler Co. to Mahala ROBERTS BYRAM. Census shows them in Schuyler Co 1850 and 1860. I haven't found them 1870, but their daughter,Margaret Ellen, married my gg grandfather Jesse Roberts in Boone County, MO 1868. Isaac and Mahala are in Randolph Co 1880 census. Most of Isaac and Mahala's children are buried at Fairview or Chapel Grove Cemeteries in Randolph County. From the census and marriage records I have, I assume that ISAAC FARRIS had a wife prior to MAHALA BYRAM with whom he had four children; and MAHALA must have been a widow with a son, JOHN M. being brought also to the marriage. I do not have children for this couple beyond the THOMAS J. FARRIS, b. abt. 1849. Do you have the names and dates for this couple's first spouses? It would also be great to exchange info on the children. I am theorizing for the moment that your ISAAC and my JOHN were brothers who migrated from IN, and that their father was from KY. My John's descendants also ended up in Randolph County; and earlier tonight Amy Batchelder [THANK YOU] confirmed that JOHN FARRIS and wife REBECCA [DICKSON] FARRIS were buried in the Hebron Cemetery in Macon Co. close to College Mound.
