ALLIN, Grant - 1870 Delinquent taxpayer ((2/8/1871) ALLIN, William - same The town that preceeded Moberly was name ALLIN although it was changed to ALLEN as time went along, and ended up in the 1940s being called Old Allen. By that time it was a part of Moberly. Before Moberly was founded in 1866, Allin was a stage stop on the road from Hannibal to Huntsville.
