Have been off all my genealogy lists due to my husband's illness but am now trying to find his elusive Bagbys. Uncle Dave sent some of the bible records... John Bagby was born June 15, 1814 at Clover Hill, Virginia..I believe that Clover Hill later became Appomatox, Virginia..he married Elizabeth Davidson in Lynchburg, Virginia in 1844. They left Virginia some time after the 1850 census then reappear in Randolph County in 1870. I haven't been able to find them on the 1870 Randolph county census yet. They had the following children: Samuel born 1846 died 1864 or 1867 Daniel born 1848 Elizabeth born 1851 Madora/Medora born 1854 Andrew Broadus Bagby born 1857 John born 1861 died??? November 7, 1892 Anna born 1863..died 1866 Mary born 1867 ...died 1868 John Bagby died December 22, 1887...age 73.. Elizabeth Bagby died July 16, 1896 Andrew Broadus Bagby married Ada Gregory of Huntsville, Missouri at her home in Huntsville on January 28, 1896.. they moved to Danbury..Red Willow county, Nebraska..where they are buried The family members who died in Randolph County have to buried some place but none of the family has been able to find the graves. The only other clue that I have is that the family were very strong Baptists. anne Bagby
