Yes there is a Salem Cemetary located just 3-4 miles SE of Woodville(Middlefork twp, Macon co) in Randolph county. It does get confusing. I was taken there years ago by a distant relative. I think the church may be at the intersection of J Highway and Y (West of Duncan's Bridge east of Levicks Mill and south of Woodville). We spent several hours there photographing tombstones of my ancestors. If you have any Jones, Sumpter, and Switzers in your tree, let know. My first searchs on my family brought me to several books by Elizabeth P. Ellesbury, which have a least gave me a place to start. Some of these books may be on line at wither Genealogy.com or Ancestery.com however both of them charge a subscription. Gayle
