Hi folks, Larry Sumpter's database has been updated to include the letter S. Please hit refresh/reload if you have visited the site recently: http://www.yggdrasill.net/mgen/sumpter.html Also new this weekend is a history of Silver Creek Township from the History of Randolph and Macon Counties - 1884. Includes interesting information on the area and lists old settlers. http://www.rootsweb.com/~morandol/silvercreek.htm -- Nancy
I found a Joseph and Mary E. Peters in the Death Index buried at St. Mary's. I think they may be my ggg-grandparents. Are there any records existing for this cemetery. Also, did Randolph County keep official Death Certificates for 1917? Would like to hear from anyone else researching the Peters name. My gg-grandfather was Thomas Eugene Peters 1874-1924 (born and died in Moberly). I know his parents names were Joseph and Mary E. (REYNOLDS) Peters. He married Bessie Lee BLAKE about 1897 in or near Moberly. Thank you, Arlene in Denver
