Hello, I feel as if I should be living in Randolph Co. as I am researching so many surnames there. I am certainly learning a lot about the county. I was wondering if anyone else would have a connection to or be researching the following surnames: HALL, TOMPKINS, SNELL, HARDISTER, SUMPTER, MC INTIRE, and possibly BURTON? Most of the families came from Kentucky and many came around the same time, mid 1820's. The Tompkins, Snell, Burton and Hardister families were some of the early settlers of the county.
