Thanks, Ben. Yes, it would appear that this is the same Pleasant Conner, brother of Starling Conner. According to a rootsweb family tree entry, Starling was the father of Sarah Conner who married Ambrose Brockman. Pleasant and Starling were siblings of Allen Conner, my husband's direct gggrandfather. There were other siblings. Martin Conner was their father, and his 1825 will is also on a rootsweb entry.
