Several families are buried here, including Old May Burton and his first and second wives, Agnes and Nancy, who were sisters. I drove down B and two of the gravel roads, but did not find it. I'm afraid I will need very specific directions! I would also like to visit the James Burton family cemetery at the same time and need directions to it. Thanks

The Burton Cemetery (originally called the Rennolds burying ground in the local paper) is but a l/2 mile from Higbee's south city limits. You go east out of town on Rte A-B and after making the curve to the right start looking for the first house on the right -- in the middle of the field. But a few hundred feet south of the house is the cemetery. The Jas. Burton cemetery is much harder to find -- go west of Higbee on Rte B and take the second drive to the left -- I haven't been to it in years, so do not know its condition.
