Hi Sandy, Not sure which name came first but they are one in the same. Attached to this cemetery is the small plot of land for Veterans' burials as well. My grandfather and his second wife and my parents are buried there. They bought their lots back in the 1950's or 1960's with the caveat that my mother did not want hers next to her stepmother's. It is not as pretty a cemetery as Oakland & St. Mary's as all the stones are required to be flush with the ground and you are somewhat limited in what you put out flower wise. The cemetery is off the north end of Business 63 (Morley Street) near the drive-in theater and past Westlake's and the Scholastic Book Center. Homer Thomas Kincannon with the year 1967 and no date of death. I also have noted a Sunset Gardens. Is that a part of Memorial Park Cemetery? Would appreciate directions or what info anyone can give me. Thanks....Sandra Mutert ==== MORANDOL Mailing List ==== Questions for the List Administrator? Send them to Leslie at [email protected]
