Hello Karen, The family, of which you speak, *could* be related to my husband's famiy since the given names are so 'right' and with Randolph County being so close to his family's roots. To date, I have no proof of that relation. However, if we discuss dates and places, we might find a connection. BTW, I also serve as administrator for most of what we call the K-L-R / C-L-R surname lists; and there are many of those (owing to the more than 100 different current spellings of this surname). So, you might wish to search the archives of these lists for clues to your COULTERs.
