    3. I was wondering if anyone had any information about the Mathis family that came to Randolph County with the Damerons, Jacksons, etc. from Caswell Co. North Carolina. I am particularly interested in Charles Mathis and his family.

    3. I'm a descendant of Vines Mathis and Nancy Ann Morehead Dameron. Vines was a brother of Charles. I don't have much on the Charles Mathis family, but I do have information on the ancestors of Vines and Charles Mathis and can send to you if you're interested.
