He had married Flora Rogers between 1880 & 1883. Flora died about 1890, according to Tolman's obituary. Tolman and Flora had a daughter named Flossie b. It was a murder, as I recall the obit in The News....seems he was found on his living room floor in the old Burton home at the SW edge of Higbee....it's been a long time since I've read about it.
