    3. With all due respect, I'm sticking with my guns for the moment. I've seen several references to "Brack" Terrill in the "News", and I grew up knowing Ruby Frances Terrill Magruder and feel Frances is correct since Ruby Frances Burton Hawkins was her namesake, I believe I've heard more than once. I'll look over your other comments and compare notes.

    3. I'm really uncertain what the question being asked re Ruby Burton Hawkins is, but as for a "clan" she descends from May Burton of Orange Co, VA.

    3. Yes that answers my question. From my research there was two branches of Burtons and unrelated in Randolph County. Our Burtons are the May Burtons of Orange Co., VA. So the Hawkins are connected in a distant way! Thank you!
