John - maybe you can help me a little bit. I was always told that Omar Bradley was a cousin of my grandfather Joseph Calvin Dougherty. The family sometimes called him "cousin omer" (pronounced that way not O-maaar but om'r. Do you know of any connection he had to the Dougherty family?
