William B. was indeed the son of Larkin Smith, who was 28 Jan 1833 in Bourbon Co.Ky. He is reported as being buried in Audrain Co. His parents were Henry Towles, born on 25 Jun 1786 in Millbrook Va, and Sally Bedford, on 14 Jul 1801 in Bourbon Co. Ky. Henry was the child of Col. Thomas Towles and Mary Beverley Smith both born in VA. Thomas was the child of Stokeley Towles and Elizbeth Martin. Stokeley was the child of Henry Towles and Hannah Thierriott. Stokeley was the son of Henry the Emigrant. I hope that helps! BTW, do you know anything about Great Uncle Thomas Theritt's grave at Hickory Grove? Carolyn, Terry, and I were trying to locate it yesterday, and could not find a stone. If there is no stone we can gather his Civil War info and get one free from the govt. Take Care! Berry
