Does anyone on the list have any information regarding the Old Age Assistance Act of 1934-1937? Although I thought it was a federal act, from the information I have been able to find, each county in a state managed their own applicants. If so, which office in Randolph County managed the applications and were those people automatically transferred from Old Age Assistance to Social Security when it became law in 1937?
