    3. To try and dig myself out of my hole, I did some census looking on the Blanset tribe.  And found some things - and a couple of questions. In 1900 George W Blanset is on the census like so: Page 61B, taken 14 Jun 1900, Moniteau Twp Randolph Co, Household 305/Family 310: 1. Blanset, George W, head, Apr 1853, 47, M26, MO, TN, NC, Farmer - Rents Farm 2.   Sarah M, wife, Jan 1850, 50, M26, 8/8 MO, VA, VA 3.   William, son, Jul 1877, 22, Md no year, MO, MO, MO, Farm Laborer 4.   Mildred, daughter, May 1882, 18, S, MO, MO, MO 5.   George A, son, Apr 1884, 16, S, MO, MO, MO, Farm Laborer 6.   Etta P, daughter, Sep 1886, 13, S, MO, MO, MO, at school 6 months 7.   Henry W, son, May 1889, 11, S, MO, MO, MO, at school 6 months 8.   Ruth E, daughter, Nov 1891, 8, S, MO, MO, MO, at school 6 months 9.   Susan, Daughter/Law, Jan 1884, 16, M no years, 0/0, MO, MO, MO In 1910 George was on page 62A, 22 Apr 1910, Higbee Ward 2, East Wood Ave (I think): 1. Blanset, George, head, 57, M1 37 yrs, KY, MO, KY, Laborer in a coal mine for wages, OFH (this was on line above but think it belongs here) 2.   Sarah M, wife, 60, M1 37 yrs, 8/6, MO, VA, VA, none 3.   George A, son, 25, S, Laborer - coal mine - w 4.   Henry, son, 19, Laborer - can't read - truck slate? - w 5.   Ruth, 18, MO, MO, MO, none 3 Jan 1920 in Higbee South Ward on S East Wood in household 41/famly 42 1. Blansett Geo W, head, 67, M, MO, TN, NC, laborer - working out - w, OFH 2.   Sarah M, wife, 69, MO, VA, VA, none 3. True, Ruth E, daughter, 27, M, MO, MO, MO, laborer - working out - w 4. True, Robert O, grandson, 4 yrs 7 months, MO, MO, MO (years may be wrong - hard to read) 5. Blanset, Orville F, Grandson, 18, S, MO, MO, MO, salesman, soft drink store - w Son George A is  in Higbee North Ward on Bradley St, 14 Jan 1920, Household   150/Family 162; he is a cager in a coal mine, age 35, rents his house; wife Barbara, 25, born Illinois, both parents born Bohemia.  No children.  Daughter Etta P is also in the North Ward on Evans Street, 9 Jan 1920, Household 64/Family 70 like this: 1. Webb, George H W, head, rents house, 45, Married, IA, PA, IN, miner - coal mine - w 2.   Etta P, wife, 33, MO, MO, KY 3.   Edith E, daughter, 14, at school, MO, IA, MO (this name badly written over) 4.   Henry O, son, 12, at school, MO, IA, MO 5.   George M, son, 7, at school, MO, IA, MO 6.   Harley W, son, 4 months, MO, IA, MO George had at least one other wife, maybe two; in 1900 he is living as a widower with his parents and son James O.  In 1930 his wife says she was 17 when she first married, so Edith and Henry aren't hers.  Maybe Henry is.  They are in IA in 1930.  Any one wants I have him and his parents and can send what I found. Now question:  Look at the 1900 census.  Is this the same William, wife Susan as the William Blansett who married Susan Grapes?  I would think so.  Her husband died in 1902.  BUT Sarah Grapes was born Sep 1885 per the Howard Co birth record.  So.  Was the census taker wrong?  The informant wrong?  Or are these anothe couple of William & Sarah Blansett? Carolyn
