Ben it is interesting how all these families intertwine thru marriage. I don't have a Richmond Terrill in my data base. You mention that he is related to aspiring presidential candidates That's a shame, but you know we all have black sheep in our family. I must have put Richmond back in the closet TIC. Linda Quinn used the county clerk's index books to index the bride and the groom in Howard Co marriage books. They all have reference to the book and page number and are divided into smaller groups (example 1860-1881 Bride A-D Groom). The marriage records themselves sometimes have more information, but often not. Sometimes because of the clerk's error there may be one date in the bride and a slightly different date in the groom index. But anytime anyone transcribes, there can be errors. It was a fabulous job, and I am so grateful. My people were primarily in Howard Co but the edges often blurred and marriages are found in both counties. The url is: http://www.rootsweb.com/~usgenweb/mo/howard/howamarr.htm Good luck finding things.
