    3. Jim, I have literally turned Harlan's Transcription of Marriages and Deaths in Randolph Co. inside/out; checked the 1805-2002 marriages in Missouri, looked at census records and have not been able to find a darn thing on Myrtle, ? Carver, or Roma. I'm still poking around but didn't want you to think I was ignoring your request.............this is a toughie! 3. Mr. Harlan's eleven volumes span newspaper articles of almost 100 years. Please be specific as to whom you are looking for, whether it is a marriage or death, and an approximate year. It would be a daunting task to just look up a surname. 1. [MORANDOL] looking for Eanes, a RR family from St. Charles
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Author: jgfarmer2 Surnames: eanes, Farmer Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/localities.northam.usa.states.missouri.counties.randolph/899/mb.ashx Message Board Post: Can anyone help me find out what happened to the Eanes family who moved to Moberly sometime in the 1870s from St. Charles. Vaden Eanes worked for the RR. I found him along with his wife and 11 yr old son Edward S. living on Clark St. in Moberly in the 1880 census. I lost track of the family after that. Maybe the families last name was mispelled in some of the records because I can not find them. Is there some kind of and index for cemeteries in Moberly? Vaden's mother's name was Mary Farmer Jim Farmer, Florissant Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. 3. Jim, According to Larry Sumpter's Death Databse on RootsWeb, I found: *Eans*, Polly--d. 13 Apr 1879 on Williams St. at her son's Vade Eans, aged 60 y, funeral 14 Feb 1879 = Oakland Cem; MDM Tuesday 15 Apr 1879. I checked old threads to see if I could find the obit, but they only go back to 1882. I assume that the above is the only thing that was in the April 15, 1879, Moberly Daily Monitor. I also went through Harlan's Transcription of Marriages and Deaths for Randolph Co., MO newspapers, and Polly was the only one that showed up from 1854-1914. If you'd like further look-ups, please contact me directly @ gmasanny@gmail.com. Assuming EANS is the correct spelling, you might contact Moberly Library and see if the obit may have said more and mentioned place of burial.
