    1. [MORANDOL-L] Looking for Jeanne
    2. The Old Couger
    3. Query from Randolph Co MO page - is this part of our LYON group? Seems the name of Azzel is vaguely familiar. Sheryl ************ AZZEL LYON FAMILY I am searching for information regarding the Azzel Lyon family. This family moved to Randolph Co., MO and settled in the Clifton Hill area. They moved from Kentucky after the Civil War. Azzel and his second wife, Lucinda, are buried at Thomas Hill Cemetery. Azzel had served in the Confederate Army. I would like to find some of his descendants. My GGG grandfather, Lewis Lyon Jr., was Azzel's brother. 3. Cathy - no Keeling Bradley in the 1875 Moberly City Dir. There has been lots of research done on this family. Have you tried a query on MORANDOL-L@rootsweb.com? Or write the Randolph County Historical Society, 223 N. Clark, Moberly, MO 65270. They do research for a fee and they have lots of info on this family. 2. Tye & Gloria Atwater
    3. Hi Cecy, I'm afraid I trashed the email wherein you gave the dates for the Moberly City Directories that you have, but I thought I would make a request, anyhow. Can you please check the Moberly Directory for Thomas A. POINDEXTER, any time between the 1880's and 1936? Thos. Poindexter died in Moberly in 1936, and his obituary indicates that he lived in the city "for the past fifty years." If you should note any other Poindexters, I would be grateful to hear of that, too. I apologize that this is so vague, but I am 99% certain that there will NOT be a surplus of Poindexters. To the best of my knowledge, Thomas, his brother Smith A. Poindexter, (who died in 1953,) and their mother, Martha K. Poindexter, (who lived by Cairo and died 1909,) were the only Poindexter's in the county. Thomas may be the only one to live in Moberly, itself. Could you also check for a Harry J. MOREAU and wife (Mabel?) at any time near the 1940's-1950's, if your directory covers any dates there? (Mrs. Moreau was Thomas A. Poindexter's daughter.) I do apologize for not keeping the dates of the diretories you have at hand, as I know such broad and vague requests are inconsiderate to the searcher. Thank you for any help you can give! Best regards, Gloria Atwater
