Susan - Luther Angell - this isn't your name but it's a good example of the unusual information found in the paper - Mrs. Amanda Angell, living with her brother Jo Robinson about 4 1/2 miles NW of Sturgeon, was severly injured by stepping out the 2nd story of a building.     3. This is an obituary that appeared in the Independent Journal, Potosi, Missouri newspaper on December 14, 2000. Maybe some of you might recognize the names: Neola F. Ford passed away Monday, December 4, 2000 at her residence in Potosi, Mo. at the age of 81 years, 4 months and 23 days. She was born on July 11, 1919 at Moberly, Mo. to the late Phillip and Ruby (Archer) Bowden. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Ina Sappington and Mary Prim and one brother, Richard Bowden. Those who remain to mourn her passing are her devoted husband of 53 years, Harry Nord of Potosi; one brother, Jim Bowden and one sister, Betty Moore, both of the state of California; nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Funeral services were conducted 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2000 at Britton Chapel, Potosi with Carl Wilson officiating. Interment was in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis under the direction of the Britton Funeral Home of Potosi.
