We know very little of his family which is making research very difficult. All that we know is his grandmothers name was Maria Morales, she was born in Puerto Rico and ended up in New York, Brox area. She married Antonio Bernard, also from Puerto Rico and they had at least one son named Victor Jose Bernard.
