The surname Morales origins are based on topology or a geographical location, which is to say it is first part of the name, is from a locale under the denomination of "Morales" existing in Spain. The name Morales is from the Latin word "moralis" which relates to "moral". By the way, a Moral is a mulberry tree. In Madrid it is the symbol of the city and everywhere you can see a bear leaning on the tree eating berries.
