Hello Listers, How about is there someone in Putnam Co. Mo who descends from a JOHN M. ROOKS who had land Patent there in 1856 . He was mar to a Temperance Jackson in 1831 in Ind and lived in Putanm in 1850's. untill he may have died in Linn Co Mo 15 Mar 1862. I am looking for anything about any ROOKS who were in Putnam Co or any other in 1800's in Mo. A James who mar a Anna Marie Wishon and Cotton's connected to them also.
