Judy; I'm afraid you've been misinformed. There are records for St. Johns cemetery in Livonia. I have a copy and have checked and no there is not a William but --its possible hes buried there and for one reason or another the grave is no longer marked. There are several McClellans buried there and of course your Evan is buried there. Know this doesn't help you much but at least you know theres no listing for him there. My family came to Putnam Co. in 1864, from Scotland co.,MO. and from IN.to there. My gggrandfather Evan is buried in the St john Cematary in Livonia, but I can find no record of Willliam, his father.
