These are death records as reported in the May 20, 1891 issue of a Unionville, Missouri newspaper. 20 May 1891, Locals Mrs. Elizabeth MARCUM, wife of James Marcum, died at her home in Lincoln Twp. Saturday last. Deceased was a daughter of Jeremiah PICKETT of the same township and leaves two small children, one an infant a week old, a husband and large circle of friends to mourn her loss. The remains were taken to the Thompson cemetery for burial. Richard SHIPLEY, formerly of Liberty township, this county died at his home in Douglas county, Mo., May 8th of lagrippe, aged 75 years. Mr. Shipley who was the father of Mrs. J.J. HOPKINS will be remembered by the older citizens of east Putnam. Mrs. KINNEY, mother of Fountain Kinney died in Richland township Sunday.
