HILL, of Jackson township was in the city Saturday and reported that Mrs. Ida CARDER, wife of F. F. Carder died on the 25th of May and was buried at the Bethany cemetery. Deceased was a daughter of mr. and Mrs. E.T. CHRISTIAN and leaves a husband, two small children. 10 Jun 1891 Joseph GUFFEY, one of the oldest citizens of this county, died at his home northwest of this city Wednesday last after a short illness. The remains were taken to the Epperson cemetery near Hartford, for burial. G.W. HOUSTON, died at his home at Omaha, this county, Monday. Deceased was the father of Mrs. A.P. MC ELHINEY and Frank Houston, clerk at the Barnum house, both of this city. Mrs. Sarah WAITE, wife of Edwin died at her home in the north part of this township, Monday, June 8. Deceased was about 70 years old and one of the early settlers of this county having resided here since October 1854. The remains were taken to the Lupton cemetery for interment.
