Anyone familiar with the Worthington Historical Society? On Oct 5, I sent a letter to them asking for information about my grandfather, Harvey C. OWEN, who lived in Worthington when he died in 1932. I think he owned a general store there at the time of his death. I haven't received a response from them. I didn't send any money with the letter. Does anyone know if they require a fee/donation before doing research? Also, I'm still kind of new to genealogy research, and may not have followed proper protocol in my request. Can anyone offer any tips on how to phrase requests when writing to historical societies? Thanks in advance. Dennis
