This obit and death notice was published in a Unionville newspaper 28 Aug 1884. 28 August 1884, Obit Died---On Monday Evening, August 1, 1884. 85, at his residence in Central City of Bilious colic, Mr. Eleazer GRAY. Mr. Gray was born in Athens County, Ohio, Sept. 27, 1817. In 1852, he emigrated to the west and settled in Schuyler County, near the present site of Queen City, where he remained for several years. In 1869 he moved to the east end of this county and settled at the place now called Graysville. Five years ago he located at this place where he engaged in the mercantile business and continued at that business up to the time of his death. During his sickness he was attended by his son L. L. Gray who recently graduated in Medicine, assisted by Dr.'s CARLTON of St. John and BUNKER of this place. Mr. Gray leaves a wife and three children to mourn his loss, besides hosts of friends who deeply sympathize with the bereaved family. By H.M.F. E. GRAY of this place, died at his residence of bilious colic, Monday. He was taken sick on Saturday. Mr. Gray was buried at the Torrey cemetery Tuesday. He was a mercant and well known all over the county and leaves a large circle of friends.
