Union Item, 5 Jan 1887 A small child of Mr. and Mrs. Berry SUMMERS died very suddenly in this city on Sunday last. 7 Apr 1887 A letter received by T. J. DAVIS, from his brother-in-law, John BELL, who is at Olean, Kansas states that four children of Mr. W. F. FRANKLIN, formerly of this city were burned to death one night lately while the father and mother were at church. Mr. Franklin was at one time a resident of Grant township and is related to T. S. Franklin.
