MORRIS, and old and respected physician of this city. On Friday the doctor made a slight complaint of a pain in his head, but went about as usual, the matter was not seriously considered by himself or family. In the evening he was called to the bedside of a patient about two miles southeast of they city. He made an examination of the case and congratulated the patient upon his improved condition. Before leaving he asked for a drink of water and in turning around to receive it dropped to the floor, dying almost instantly. Dr. Morris had been a resident and practitioner in this city for the past 25 or 30 years, and his sudden demise will be regretted by all. Funeral services were conducted at the residence by Elder E.M. SMITH.
