This death was published in a Unionville newspaper in the February 18, 1891 issue. I have typed it as it was printed, though I doubt the name below, "Ki" is the full name. It could be a number of names but this was how it was in the newspaper. 18 Feb 1891 A deplorable accident occurred at Ki MINICK'S in Elm Township Saturday last. His son and daughter, both small children, went to the barn and as they entered the door a horse kicked them at the time it was thought the boy would not recover from the blow received. It is also said that the girl did not get as much attention at that moment as the boy, as the parents were unaware she was injured in the least. It proved later, however, that she had received fatal injuries as she died in a few hours afterward.
